My name is Hana Kupková – Khalida. I am a dancer and teacher from České Budějovice and the leader of the group Aiwa! tribe. Together with dancer Warda, I became a two-time winner of Bellydancer of the World competition in the categories of fusion duo and folklore, and with my group I won the second place in the same competition.
I have been dancing since 2004. I have had the opportunity to study with Czech and foreign teachers and I have learned oriental dance right in its cradle – with the world’s best dancers in Egypt.
I share my art and enthusiasm for dance with the audience during performances at smaller private and large public events. During the courses, I try to gradually pass on all my knowledge to the students so that they also feel great in their bodies, gain self-confidence and enjoy their femininity. The lessons take place in the Oáza dance studio in the center of České Budějovice, which I founded together with my colleagues Manuel and Dalal.

I have been dancing since I was a child, I have been teaching since 2006. But I will teach you more than just steps and elements: I will gradually pass to you everything I can so that you feel great in your body, gain confidence and enjoy your femininity – not only in class, but also in your whole life.

Where can I find the dance hall?
We dance in the newly renovated hall of the Oáza dance studio in the center of České Budějovice. You will feel great and relaxed in the pleasant and spacious dance hall.
You can find us at Dr. Stejskala 7, České Budějovice, (1 minute from the main square, in the passage, 1st floor).
The dance hall can also be rented for yoga, dance and other classes.
What should I bring to the course?
All you need is regular leggings and a T-shirt or similar sportswear, you don’t need anything special. You can bring a scarf or buy it directly at the dance hall. And most importantly, don’t forget the good mood!
Can I do it?
Certainly! There is nothing to fear. A wide range of courses offers lessons tailored to complete beginners and experienced dancers. You can dance regardless of age, figure or skill. If you have health restrictions, tell me about it, it is usually not a problem to adjust the movement to suit you. The main thing is the desire to dance and feel better.
How much is the course?
The price of regular courses is 150 CZK for a 75-minute lesson when paying for the entire course (usually 3-4 months). In the case of payment for individual hours, the price is 200 CZK / 75 minutes. When you attend any two courses, you will receive a 30% discount on the second course.
You can come and try the first lesson and pay the course on the second lesson. It is possible to sign up for ongoing courses, in which case you only pay for the number of hours remaining until the end of the course.
Compensation for missed hours is possible in any other course within the current semester. The course fee is non-refundable, but it is possible to transfer the paid course (or the rest of it) to a substitute.
I also offer private lessons for 400 CZK / 60 minutes.

Aiwa! tribe
We have been dancing together as Aiwa! tribe for over thirteen years and in 2012 we won 2nd place at the international competition Bellydancer of the World in the group fusion category.
During all that time, some members and choreographies have changed, but what still remains is our passion for dance, breathtaking costumes, dynamic choreography and absolute professionality and reliability from communication to the performance itself.
And that’s why we organise Aiwa! festival every year, the largest festival of oriental dance in southern Bohemia and smaller events, such as the traditional charity evening Aiwa! hafla.
